VERTICAL M.A.G. orthosis is an articulated arm support allowing the resumption of vertical movements according to the model. It is convenient for all the pathologies with a partial paralysis of the upper limb.
This orthosis has been designed by Daniel DOUADDI Rehabilitation Centre (Health Foundation for French Students) and has been supplied for more than ten years now. An exceptional long life in this activity field ! M.A.G. orthosis performances in adjustment possibilities, as well as in ease of movements have not been equalled yet, and therefore it is used by patients suffering from high level tetraplegy with very reduced motor possibilities.

KEY FEATURES AND BENEFITS

1. Used for a functional purpose (to take something, to eat) or for rehabilitation (active mobilization, muscular reinforcement).
2. Decreases strongly the action of the gravity, abolishes frictions and restores a freedom of movements.
3. One set of 4 elastic tensors and one screw for fine adjustment are provided to adjust the vertical pressure from 0 to 4,5 kg.
4. Amplitude of adjustable vertical movement from 85 to 200 mm.
5. Adaptable, little cumbersome. Possible coupling with HORIZONTAL MAG.
